Series Background:
When Ianto Jones first walked onto my television in the premiere episode of Torchwood, I was fascinated. As the series moved along, the mysterious Ianto Jones with his hidden past continued to intrigue me. Slowly, I came to realize, while researching another project, that Ianto Jones could pass for the Tsarevitch Alexei Romanov. Thus, the Tsar of Torchwood universe was born.
