Scriptoria Mea background information

Scriptoria Mea is the latest incarnation of my personal website. It takes its name from the Latin for "personal archive". It may be a pretentious name, but I thought it more fitting then "My Library". After a lot of thought, a lot of soul searching and the realization that I would, for the foreseeable future, be returning to my roots as a fan fiction writer, I knew I needed to completely retool my website to better suit my needs and interests as a writer. If you really want to know more about me personally, you can find a brief biography of me, here. Otherwise, read on.

Originally purchased as a location to archive writing articles I was writing for Cobblestone Press's CPQ Quarterly Magazine, this site has hosted a personal review site, a never updated Wordpress blog, and now is once again an archive. This time it is a personal archive of my writing. A place for me to work out what I want to write and to write it without regard to the constrains of public fan fiction archives or the even stricter confines of professional publishing. Perhaps in the future I will return to the ranks of the professionally published; however, for the moment is is best that I regain something I lost almost a decade ago, my joy in writing.

This archive will host my personal fiction writings, both fan fiction and original fiction, in a variety of genres. Additionally, this site will likely eventually place host to whatever projects I do for Script Frenzy and National Novel Writing Month. So, there will be plenty to read here, especially if I get back to my one piece of fiction a week schedule from when I originally started publically writing.

With all that said, I hope you enjoy your visit. Comments, criticism, or just general notes can be sent to me via the contact form.
